Chlamydia

  Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted infection. Men and women can have it. The bacterium is  Chlamydia trachomatis , which is easily cured by antibiotics. It's important to treat it, if not it can cause serious health problems. Some of the problems it can produce is infertility and ectopic pregnancy. Prevention The best way to prevent it is the correct use of condoms during anal and vaginal intercourse. It is the only way, actually. During pregnancy, if you have chlamydia you must have your treatment so the infection isn't transmitted to the baby. There are no vaccines to prevent it. Symptoms Many people with chlamydia have no symptoms or only mild symptoms. If they occur, they're gonna appear three weeks after having sex with someone with chlamydia.   Fetal alcohol syndrome is a condition in a child because the fetus was exposed to alcohol during the pregnancy. It causes brain damage and growth problems. Any kind of problems or damages are not reversible, and they can change from one child to another. People might think that if the pregnant drinks a little bit it's not bad, but there's always a risk of having the fetal alcohol syndrome even if it's not that much. If you want to keep your brain engaged during the aging process, listening or playing music is a really good tool. Now we know that music helps to reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain. It also helps improving sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory. How do we listen to and play music? A stereo system puts out vibrations that travel through the air and somehow get inside the ear canal. They are transmitted by electric signal that travels through the auditory nerve to the brain stem, where it's reassembled in something we perceive as music.   We need constant oxygen supply to our surviv al, a nd a heart attack generally occurs when the blood flow gets hampered due to certain reasons. SYMPTOMS The primary  symptoms  are: breathing problems, cold sweat, indigestion, fatigue, sudden dizziness,  pressure  aching sensation in the chest. These basic symptoms are quite common but they can vary between people. Some diabetic patients have silent symptoms. DIAGNOSIS Depending on all the risk factors and the symptoms associated to the disease, doctors can ask you to have some tests done. During emergencies,  a physical exam to review your medical history along with ECG or electrocardiogram inevitably becomes the first step to diagnose a heart attack.  To evaluate your heart function, the cardiologist might also use invasive procedures involving specialised medical equipment. The Accident and Emergency (A&E) department is for major, life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Most of them offer a 24 hours access, every single day, but not every hospital has one. Some of examples of illnesses or injuries that they treat are: loss of consciusness, acute cofused state and fits that are not stopping, persistent severe chest pain, breathing difficulties, severe bleeding that doesn't stop. Doctors and nurses that work at A&E are specially trained in emergency medicine and have access to equipment and treatment for life-threatening situations. They use a system called clinical triage, this means that people with more serious conditions will be treated before people with minor complaints.
