SYMPTOMS

The primary symptoms are: breathing problems, cold sweat, indigestion, fatigue, sudden dizziness, pressure aching sensation in the chest. These basic symptoms are quite common but they can vary between people. Some diabetic patients have silent symptoms.

DIAGNOSIS

Depending on all the risk factors and the symptoms associated to the disease, doctors can ask you to have some tests done. During emergencies,  a physical exam to review your medical history along with ECG or electrocardiogram inevitably becomes the first step to diagnose a heart attack. 
To evaluate your heart function, the cardiologist might also use invasive procedures involving specialised medical equipment.

The duration and the treatment depend on your initial assessment.
